Project 365...well into April

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

Where does the time go? Didn't it JUST turn 2010?? How did it get to be mid-April already??
Life is busy, as usual. The end of the school year is quickly approaching so there are so many things to start taking care of there.
Planning to get married and move in (now less than) 6 weeks is making life busy, too. So much to take care of, even tho we are just eloping! I thought the whole "have no wedding" thing would make it a lot easier! Who knew?
But without busy-ness, life would be....boring? yeh, for me it would. So let me just share some things that kept my mind occupied THIS week.

Sunday

*kinda blurry..sorry!*
Molly and I sang Sandi Patty's "Face to Faith" song at our church talent show.
She was really nervous, and sang off key, bless her heart, but she had fun doing it!

Our character study in my class this week was on Curious George.
So many of my 1st graders had never seen him before. Sad. :(

Tuesday

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood....and on recess duty, too!

Getting that tax form ready to mail. It was only an $18 refund, but I'm sure the fine for NOT mailing in the form would've been greater!

The PTO Fundraiser Cookie Dough arrived and had to be passed out to parents. It never ceases to amaze me the number of parents that do not check their child's backpack/homework folder/agenda book every night for notes. We sent home 2 notes and announced it at school, and still had about 30 parents say "Oh, I didn't know anything about it!" when I had to call after pickup time had passed to see if anyone was coming to get their orders!

Friday

Took Molly to her dad's, and picked up Matt to bring home with me for the weekend!

Saturday

Laid the seats down in my Durango and loaded it full of tubs from my storage building to take to Greg's "shop" (aka, the extra garage that's closed in for storage).Got all the Christmas stuff, almost all of the school stuff, and a little of the "personal" things stacked away nicely over there. Made 3 trips and my storage building is still half full!
I've come to the conclusion that I'm a closet hoarder. I have a LOT of stuff.
It's starting to overwhelm me....all the packing I've got to do.

Well..there ya have it. Another week gone by.
Somedays pass so quickly they are a blur...others I never want to end.
I hope your's was as productive and blessed as mine way!

I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project!
For this year long project I will be posting an image a day.
I am hoping this will...

• help me find new things around me to focus my attention on
• share my world with my friends and family more

Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer.

That is sad that your class didn't know Curious George...even my kinders know him!! So glad you were able to introduce a new character! And good luck with that whole organizing and moving thing...I am a secret hoarder...like on TLC!! But not as bad....just my garage!

I have alot of things in my closets too. Out of sight out of mind...you know?
How cool that you and your daughter sang together. My mom and I used to do that too. Great memories.
WE love Curious George.
