Image
A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun! I'm baaaaack!!! (said in my best Jack Nicholson voice!!) I've been to Vegas, made it home, visited with my favorite future president of the United States, and have started another busy busy week. But let me spend a few minutes with you while I can!! I've so much to share! 196/365 Friday July 16 LUNCH WITH A FRIEND DAY I have this friend here in town that I hadn't seen since school got out. We go to church together, our daughters are friends, and we use to have "date night" on Wednesdays when we'd meet at church for dinner, then we co-led our ladies' Bible study together. She remarried in March, and I, of course, in May, and life has just been busy for us since. It was good to not only get to have lunch with her at The Olive Garden that day, but to also go get pedicures together. (a treat I almost never do.) A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun! Ok..I need to catch up a week, especially since I'm leaving tomorrow for a school conference in Las Vegas and will be gone all week...so, I'll get all caught up and then do another catch up when I get back, and then MAYBE I'll be back on schedule! How's that? When I last shared, we were up to Sunday, July 4th. The last day of family reunion. So this is what has happened since: 185/365 Monday-July 5 DRIVING HOME FROM THE REUNION DAY We left KY about 7am and made it to the kids' dad's house about 4pm and then to my own by 5:30. My oldest son was able to help me drive and did over half of it I think. It's so great to have a driving buddy again after years of doing it alone! One thing we found along the way that may have helped him... this energy drink...but look at the warning on the back! PRICELESS! 186/365 Tuesday-July 6 QUIET DAY! The kids were gone...hubby went to work....

Today is Alphabee-Thursday. That means my blog is currently being brought to you by the letter Z. and... is for That's right....c'mon now...fess up. Who's old enough to remember the original ZOOM show on PBS? yeh...I thought there might be a couple of ya! I remember this show.. Wikipedia tells about it, too: ZOOM is an American educational television show, created almost entirely by children, which aired on PBS originally from January 3, 1972 to 1978. This was produced by WGBH-TV in Boston. ZOOM encourages children to "turn off the TV and do it!" On the show, a cast of (usually) seven kids (known as ZOOMers) perform various activities such as games, plays, poems, recipes, jokes, and science experiments, all suggested by viewer contributions. The mail-in request became a pop culture reference for its music exhortation to "Write ZOOM, Z-Double-O-M, Box 3-5-0, Boston, Mass 0-2-1-3-4: send it to ZOOM!". There is also a language game on the show called Ubbi...
