A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun! So much for the fall air I spoke of last week. Temps soared back up into the 90s just when I was hoping to break out some long sleeves! But that didn't stop us from having a good week! 275/365 Sunday, October 3 NEW PJ DAY I spied these last week and wanted them, but had to purchase some more school uniforms for my darling daughter instead. They were so soft and fleecy! When I told hubby about them, he told me to go buy them. I love that man! 276/365 Monday, October 4 I'D LOSE MY HEAD IF IT WASN'T ATTACHED DAY I'm so absent minded...always laying stuff down and forgetting where I put it. My kid and my students are always having to help me look for stuff. Today I forgot to put on my nametag before leaving the house. I had it in my hand, then went to help Molly with something. It got laid down and forgotten. I couldn't remember who I was all day without it! LOL 277/365 Tuesday, Octob...

Ten on Tuesday--- Rockstar Readers!

Image
Today is 10 on Tuesday! Our school started a new program yesterday...ROCKSTAR READERS! For every 5 books the students read, they get a big 8"x11" star to write the titles on and it goes up on a wall in the hallway by the BIG WOODEN ROCKSTAR. The goal is for the children to read 100 books. Teachers, too! So...for 10 on Tuesday I decided to list 10 books I'd like to read. 1. What Southern Women Know About Faith 2. The Shadow of Your Smile-Mary Higgins Clark 3. Life is Just What You Make of It--Donny Osmond 4. The Husband--Dean Koontz 5. Don't Say I Didn't Warn You--Anita Renfroe 6. Bless Your Heart, Tramp!--Celia Rivenbark 7. We're Just Like You Only Prettier--Celia Rivenbark 8. Might As Well Laugh About It Now--Marie Osmond 9.Do the Right Thing--Mike Huckabee (I have this one, even got it autographed, but haven't read it yet.) 10. Goldilicious--Victoria Kann So....looks like I need to find some a quiet spot and some extra time, and get busy, huh?

Project 365: Bring on Fall

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun! Fall is in the air! After suffering temps of 102 on Sunday, it was actually "chilly" by the weekend with temps in the 70-80s range. I do believe Autumn has arrived! 268/365 Sunday, Sept 26 MOVIE DAY Molly and I laid around watching movies today. I was exhausted (as was she) so we skipped church (shhhh! don't tell my mother) and and had a quiet day. (if you can't tell...we watched Letters to Juliet, The Break-up Plan, and Our Family Wedding) 269/365 Monday, Sept 27 WHEN THE HUMANS ARE AWAY, THE PETS WILL PLAY DAY I received an email at school Monday with the subject line:Uh Oh! That can never be good. It seems that my stepson's cats and my dog were doing their usual playing/chasing each other around the house (the cats chase Maggie just as much as she chases them) and the ironing board got knocked over hitting a lamp on an end table which had (yes HAD) a glass top. The lamp went str...
