Sunday, March 13 OUT OF SERVICE The game room bathroom has a leak somewhere...we thought it was the toilet, but even after turning the water off to it, the floor is still staying wet. The plumber will be out here to see about it "soon". (ugh) Monday, March 14 PUBLIC OUTING Annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner Tuesday, March 15 QUIZ BOWL Molly's GT class had a quiz bowl tournament in a neighboring city. They didn't win, but we had a lot of fun. Wednesday, March 16 SPLURGE NIGHT chili cheese fries! Thursday, March 17 WHEN IRISH EYES ARE SMILING well...I'm not really irish, altho my kids are... but I couldn't resist wearing these glasses at school today. My students (and the other teachers) got a big kick out of them! Friday, March 18 MY BIRTHDAY DINNER AT MOM'S Let the celebrating begin. My bday isn't actually til the 23rd, but since we could all be there tonight, we had a party. My 5 yr old neice helped me blow out the candles.... ....then picked the cupca...

Hmmm...no comments on last week's entry. Jenny Matlock emailed me and said she couldn't find a place to leave one, but everytime I've come back to my entry, it's right there. Weird! I hope this one allows them, because even tho I don't get many here, I do love them!! Ok..on to the happenings of my life. Sunday, March 6 WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER As most of you probably know...I am a Facebook addict. I love that site. I also got suckered in to playing Family Feud on there. I use to do it everyday, but could never seem to earn as many points as my friend Cynthia, or coworker Mary, or cousin Tanya. NEVER. I asked Cynthia her secret once, and she said that she doesn't play on the weekends, so that on Monday mornings, she has several games saved up and it gives her the opportunity to earn a lot of points at once. So... I gave up on the game for a week, and then today I played like 6 games, and helped lots of friends with their "fast money" rounds...and V...

Yep...this was the first actual week I've been to school all 5 days since Christmas. With snow days, holidays, and surgery for Dad.... We've had strange schedules. Maybe that's why this week seemed so LOOOOOOOOOONG!!! Sunday, February 27 WAITING FOR SUPERMAN I had to skip tutoring today to make up the Book Study session I missed last Thursday while at the hospital with my dad. We watched "Waiting for Superman". (sorry it's an online pic, not my own) It's about education in America. Very informational and enlightening. It made me mad, it made me sad. It inspired me to make a bigger difference in the lives of my students. Monday, February 28 OLD SCHOOL CANDY Haven't seen one of these tasty sugary treats since childhood.
