COLOR ME ASSEMBLY--
We've received the Color Me Healthy grant from the USDA for the 3rd year. This $83,000 provides fresh fruits and veggies to our students 3 times a week as a snack and provides assemblies to teach them about eating healthy. To kick off this year's program, the percussion section of our high school band, cheerleaders and mascot, and a local pediatrician all came to perform/talk. We also had a "special guest" which the kids (and teachers) liked more than anything else.....

Michael Jackson! One of my former kiddos, now in 3rd grade, did a great job of "Beat-ing It" for the crowd.

THE BOYS COME FOR A STAY
Trey's new artwork--not a tattoo, it's just sharpie marker. A friend of his did it when she was bored.

Never a dull moment around here, I tell ya!
Hope y'all have a great one, too!

I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project!
For this year long project I will be posting an image a day.
I am hoping this will...

• help me find new things around me to focus my attention on
• share my world with my friends and family more

Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer.

I love the fake tattoo. Very good little artist. The dog in the cat house is too cute.
