I am not a glutton - I am an explorer of food

I love that Erma Bombeck quote.
Actually, I love nearly everything Ms Erma ever said I think. When I was growing up, my mother read everything she ever wrote, and thusly, so did I. Very wise woman was she!

But back to the title.
I have a confession.
After being so good calorie wise at breakfast and lunch...and really honestly planning on having a low-cal snack when I got home from school....
I bombed it!

I mean...why would anyone want to choke down enjoy these wonderfully filling treats

When THESE are lying right there....already opened...just calling out, "EAT ME...EAT ME"..

I mean...they were already opened!! Possibly growing staler by the moment. What was I suppose to do? Let them just sit there...and get hard...and become a waste of my hard earned money?

No..I did want any hungry woman on a budget would do.
I snarfed those puppies down before they knew what hit them!

But now..as I'm licking the salty goodness off my fingers...I am feeling a bit guilty. and trying to talk myself out of one of those last pieces of chocolate from the Christmas stockings.

I guess I'll have to reduce my calories at dinner. Even if it is "Sonic Night" (the boyfriend's night to provide dinner!--halfprice burgers is usually the fare)

Yanno...maybe I should've waited to start a diet til AFTER I was finished PMSing!!

Throw the diet out the window, and just take good care of yourself...well, that's what I did. It worked!

You sound like me in the starting a new diet at the first of every year...but not this year. This year, I'm just going to eat right, take care of myself and my health and enjoy being in my own skin. Let's see how that works...now pass the Bugles! lol
Love you,
~Barb~
