Well that would be the ONLY good thing about this weather.

It's 15 degrees right now at 6:30am. The high is only suppose to be 25.

I know a lot of you will tell me how much lower y'all's is...and that's fine. But this is COLD for southwest Arkansas. I mean...I'm nestled down here in the corner of Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana.

It's not SUPPOSE to get this cold.
We don't know how to handle this.

My bones hurt!
I hate to think what my gas bill will be (I have gas heat, electric air). It was $200 for last month...and it wasn't even half this cold.

Oh..and here's my question.
If freezing is 32 degrees, will things freeze twice as fast at 16 degrees?

Brrr is right it is a little cooler here. I hate it! I am shivering while typing.

I believe that things freeze at an exponential rate. Therefore, at 16 degrees, it’s probably about 6 times as frozen! Sending warm fuzzies from my Rocky Mountain heart!

Today is Alphabe-Thursday. That means my blog is brought to you by the letter C...so let's get right down to it. is for ahhh...the simplicity of crayons! An essential tool in my profession, and yet such a vital part of our lives. Crayons have the ability to color our world. They add life to simple drawings, brighten up the darkest of pictures, and create rainbows on rainy days. After completing a writing assignment my students will often ask...."Do we have to draw a picture?" "Of course you do!! And use your crayons!" I will reply. And then the real feelings of their topic show through. Without color, how dull our lives would be. No yellow sunshiny days. No pink cotton candy. No blue skies and green grass.
