Project 365...Wedding Week

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

Well friends...I'm more than a day late a dollar short with this entry, but with getting married, going on a honeymoon trip, and then returning to school for the last day, things have been CUH-RAZY busy...as you can imagine. Let me see if I can get caught up while I have a minute. (I'm actually eating lunch while cleaning out my house.)

Sunday-May 23

It was party day for my nephew Max. He turned 1 on the 26th, but we celebrated a few days early.

**yaaay! it's my party day!**

Monday-May 24

Maggie watches as Molly and I pack up part of my bedroom to take over to "Greg's house"/our new house. She's not impressed.

Tuesday-May 25

My 1st grade co-workers (there are 10 of us that teach 1st), threw me a surprise shower at lunch..just us. So sweet of them!

Wednesday-May 26

Panic day! Was I gonna get everything done? I was just not feeling motivated to pack up my house, let alone my classroom. Too early to put everything away there, and still using stuff at my house. I was starting to feel overwhelmed. But..as he always does, my sweet sweet fiance' helped calm my nerves. He had this waiting for me at his house.....the first rose of the season from his flowerbed. He always picks it just for me.

Thursday-May 27

My last day with my kids at school as Ms. Mockabee. I think they were as excited as I was! I took a picture with each of them, and then left it for them in my absence to write about their experience in first grade. (They also got a copy of it in the photo albums I made for each of them with pics from throughout the year.)

Friday-May 28

Wedding Day.
We had a 1pm appointment at our friend Randy's office, who happens to be a
judge. They called at 10am asking if we could come earlier....like, as soon as we could get there. So Greg went home from work to shower, and I threw on some clothes (and of course couldnt find what I'd wanted to wear) and we went to get married.

Saturday-May 29

We went to Memphis for our Honeymoon. It's just a 4 hour drive, and Greg had never been to Graceland or the Memphis Zoo, so that's what we decided to do.
Saturday was Graceland Day. A lot of walking, but it was fun.

We wanted to eat at Rendezvous that night, but the waiting line was way down the street and Greg could not stand for that long, so we went to The Hard Rock Cafe. He'd never been to one of those either. I love taking him to places I like!

And that was the first full day of the honeymoon. We stayed til Monday, so I guess you'll have to wait til next Sunday to see how the rest of the trip, and this week of moving went! I hope you are having a good one!

I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project!
For this year long project I will be posting an image a day.
I am hoping this will...

• help me find new things around me to focus my attention on
• share my world with my friends and family more

Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer.
