Q is for Queen------sized

Today is Alphabee-Thursday.
That means my blog is currently being brought to you by the letter Q.
and...
is for

I have a facebook status that says, "I am the Queen, my pantyhose says so."
and I am.
queensize that is.

I have never been a teeny petite girl, altho for years I desperately wanted to be.
oh, in my mind I am. That's my problem. My self-image portrays me as a size 5 at most. Slim, trim, flat firm belly, perfectly rounded bum...
but then a mirror, or worse yet-a photgraph betrays me and shows me for what I am.

But I've learned that that's just me.
I'm loud, large, and lively.
I'm a lot of fun..ask anyone.

I do tend to think it's "all about me"...jokingly of course.
I do tease about wearing a tiara and being queen of the world.
I even sleep in a queensize bed...at least for a couple more weeks!

I'll never be a pixie princess...and I've come to accept that.
And thankfully, I don't have to be.
Because being all I can be includes filling out these women sized jeans.
And those who know me, don't mind!
And those that might mind...don't matter!

What fun! I am on the other end of the size spectrum. There are man more choices in panty hose if you have in the queen size.

I see myself as much smaller than I am...kinda like how I used to be : ) The metabolism at nearly 50 is most definitely not what it was at 20.

Have a nice weekend!

Great use of the letter Q. We have a Queen sized water bed but it's getting harder and harder the older I am to get out of it LOL.

I love this post! If I actually ever wore pantyhose they would also be Queen-ly!

I admire both your candor and writing in this post.

It was a refreshing post on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's Letter "Q"!

A+

I do think that I am skinnier than I am, lol! Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have eaten that little candy bar today, haha!
I would rather be a queen than a pixie, but I'm not. I'm not even a pixie, I'm more of a bean pole.

long live the queen!

Thank goodness there is room in this world for people of all shapes and sizes and colors. :-)
I want to thank you for the lovely award you gave me!! I am truly honored that you thought of me. I need to do some serious thinking about who I will pass it on to. But it's going to have to wait a bit...cuz this weekend we will be busy moving son from college dorm back home for the summer.

I keep forgetting to tell you that I really like how you introduce each letter. The letter Q image this time is lovely. And your post is very fun. You sound like a beautiful, spunky, full of humor and life woman. Your fiance is a lucky man.

Oh my favorite Q post today!!! I love how you are loud and proud! A wonderfully refreshing voice in a world of hyper-thin wanna-be's.

What a great attitude you have! I'm working on getting there myself.

I so enjoyed your queen sized post! I could totally relate to it. I have a poem in my soon-to-be published book of poetry that talks about exercising, etc, and how much I love to shop for earrings because, no matter what you weigh, one size fits all!
