Project 365...halfway through May already?
A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

A busy, jammed pack week! Let me share it with you!

Sunday-May 9
Mother's Day!
My children were all here with me.
Normally they work together to prepare me a large, eclectic, breakfast in bed.
Not so this year. This year they kinda flaked out on me..
this is what I was presented with...
A bowl of Lucky Charms, and a Diet Coke!!
Not that I'm complaining...I love them both. Just seems that the boys flaked out on me.
However...Trey, my 16 yr old, was very proud that he was able to spend his own hard-earned money on a gift for me this year.
And the M&Ms, via their dad, got this book for me that I'd asked for.
And it's autographed!!
(I know a lot of people have issues with her, but I like her. I don't agree with everything she's said and done, but I still like her. When I was thumbing through this book at Books-a-Million, I came across the chapter that was "Letters to Jesus" where she shared her two older girls asking Jesus into their hearts. It was very touching and made me want to read the whole book.)

Monday-May 10
I love this time of year. Ya can't go outside without being blessed with the aroma of honeysuckle all around.

Tuesday-May 11
This time of year, the berries are also blooming.

Wednesday-May 12
Molly's end of year GA program at church

Thursday-May 13
This was the night that my favorite class of 1st grade students from my old school graduated high school. So bittersweet! 3 of my former students sent me invitations and since Trey wanted to go, too (it's still his school even though I've moved), I drove the 75 miles to get there.
I was so proud. The Valedictorian, and both Salutatorians (there was a tie for that spot) had been MY first grade babies...from MY class! I cried almost as much as their mothers did!
365/133
Friday-May 14
Getting ready for the yard sale...and getting Greg's house cleaned up (since his mother would be over to help with the sale!)
Of course we took time to let Maggie play with Alex's cats!
this is Crash
and this is Pixie

Saturday-May 15
Yard Sale Day...
storms Thursday and Friday had us worried that we wouldn't be able to have our street long sale. I prayed for God to just hold off the rain until after the sale..and He did.
But..I should've also prayed that He let all my stuff be sold!
After hauling the majority of my furniture over to Greg's, then hauling it out to the yard Saturday morning...
it just sat there, all day.
I did make some money on the "piddly stuff"...but the only piece of furniture that sold was one dresser. :(
I was not happy.
At least my friend Amanda came and helped out with the sale.
So...that was my week.
I'm sore from moving furniture twice yesterday...and there's still so much to do and the days are going by too fast.
This week should be a little slower, allowing us to get more stuff done!
Stay tuned to see how all THAT turns out!!
I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project!
For this year long project I will be posting an image a day.
I am hoping this will...
• help me find new things around me to focus my attention on
• share my world with my friends and family more
Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer.

Love the honeysuckle smell too!
I drink a Diet Mt. Dew every morning for breakfast and feel guilty about it. I don't feel as guilty now.
Enjoy your week!
Looks like you were blessed with a nice Mother's Day gift bag...a book and an awesome DVD...you are all set:)
WE never do good in our neighborhood for yard sales...it is a bummer.
