a 3 day weekend

FINALLY!!!
I thought Labor Day weekend would NEVER get here.
We've already had 2 1/2 weeks of school. Usually it's 3 days of school before the holiday. No wonder I'm so drained!

I figured with 3 days off this weekend, I could allot 1 day to cleaning, 1 day to working at school all day, and 1 day to be my ALAP day. (as little as possible).
I was gonna let today be the ALAP day...but I got up with the laundry bug up my ass and started laundry, both washing and hanging up/putting away the mountain that has been piling up in the "clean" pile.

BUT...I promised myself not to do TOO much today. I rented some movies last night and plan to watch them all.
Last night Greg had to go back into work at 9:30 to start editing the football game videos as they came in so he could get the HOPE game on the air at midnight for the people in our community who didn't go, or just wanted to watch it again. They've come to expect that!

Molly and I came home and made popcorn and watched movies.
I watched "I Love You Man"

and she watched one of the Mary Kate and Ashley teen movies she rented.
(Say what you want about them --and I do, b/c I don't think they can act worth a lick-- but their kid movies are clean and appropriate for my kids and tweens to watch.)
"I Love You Man" was not appropriate for her...TONS of profanity and talk of masterbation and stuff..not things she needs to hear, so I was glad she had her own movie to watch.

Today I'm going to watch "Sunshine Cleaners" and "Duplicity".

As I've said before..I'm so thankful for our little movie store here where new releases are only $1.25. We can raid the spare change can for those prices!

In other news...

ummm...*thinks.....there's got to be some other news...

nope, nada.
nothing other than John is taking the boys Squirrel Hunting today.
Matt was excited to be going.

I guess that's all I got for now.
