While I'm waiting..
It's nearly midnight, and I'm sitting here killing time so I don't fall asleep while waiting to flip the laundry.
Molly decided that she needed THAT pair of pants to wear tomorrow, and would I wash them.
of course I would
anything not to have to battle her in the morning.
So she went to bed, and I'm up.
Trying to catch up on some of y'all entries. Since I keep up with a lot of you on FB, I haven't been coming here as much. Well, that and I just don't have as much time to sit and read...or write.
But let's see if I can catch up:
*Went to Memphis last weekend. JA conference was good. Richard Paul Evans, author of The Christmas Box, was the keynote speaker and WONDERFUL!!!
Got to spend time with "the memphis mafia" and Jennelle.
I love getting to see my girlie friends!
*School is stressful in that 23 little bodies is so much harder to teach than 18. There is a constant murmer among them. Someone is ALWAYS talking to someone else. It's nerve-racking!!
And the way the schedule is set up....my day never seems to end, yet I'm still not getting everything in!
I feel like I'm drowing.
*Kids are good...all love school.
*Maggie will have her first grooming on Thursday. I finally got to meet with the groomer and tell her my concerns over not wanting Maggie to be cut like a poodle. She showed me what she can do for her.........*crosses fingers it will turn out cute.
*WatchDogs kicked off tonight. This is the volunteer program for the men in our children's lives. Dads, uncles, grandpas, big brothers....
We only had about 200 men show up, bringing 300 kids with them...a far cry from years past, but still a nice showing.
We fed them hot dogs donated and roasted by Tyson (one of our main corporate sponsors of the program). They were yum!
*I'm really kinda irritated about people voicing criticism over Michelle Duggar's pregnancy with baby #19.
SO WHAT??
She's healthy, she wants it, her family can afford to support it, they don't ask for any government hand outs, nor accrue any debt despite having a family that large.
Sure..i think some of their religious beliefs are a bit extreme...(no college for girls, wearing long hair and dresses all the time)..but I respect them. They do no harm to others.
It's not like she went and got artifically inseminated to give birth to 8 babies and then expected the govt to support her!
I don't watch their show, but have seen a clip from it here and there. More power to them!
I did not realize that they were from Arkansas until tonight tho. That he was a former State Representative. I do remember hearing about a Rep that had a lot of kids a few years back, but did not make the connection to them when I started seeing them on tv.
and Greg SWEARS that one of their families is from Hope. Vampira says they lived in a house near where they use to live. Maybe it's JimBob's parents, or Michelle's...idk. I googled for info on them (the Duggar's parents) but couldn't find anything.
*Trey's MRI came back...
ortho surg said that it was perfect...no sign of anything wrong.
Says we can continue with physical therapy, or do exploratory surgery, but he's not sure they'd find anything if they do surgery.
We vote for the physical therapy!!
Ok..i think the washer cut off and I can now put Molly's clothes in the dryer and go to bed.
I wish you all a wonderful humpday.
