A Quickie, cuz I'm tired

It's already 11:30pm, and I told myself I'd be in bed by 11:00..but it' aint happening. I haven't even had my shower and washed my hair yet. (I go to bed with it wet so I don't have to dry it and damage it anymore than I already do.)
I think I last wrote Sunday.
Yesterday was...not what I expected.
After school, I went to the co-op building to have them print off 100 copies of the Spaghetti Supper flyer I made so I can start posting them around town.
Then I went to Greg's to check on him.
He wasn't home.
His truck was there, and Alex was there, but no Greg.
He was in the ER.
Vampira took him about 12:30.
They were pumping him full of lots of fluids.
He was severely dehydrated, super low potassium, sodium, and electrolytes.
He'd been lying in bed since Saturday evening.
Doctor said if he'd lain there another day or so, he'd have been in a coma.
Greg says he's never felt as bad as he was feeling over the weekend..that he was ready to ASK them to admit him. That he seriously wanted to just curl up and die.
It was a stomach virus..not H1N1,which of course is what everyone suspects first these days.
He's on the mend...has to take potassium pills and phenergan, and an anti-diuretic.
He is feeling better but still running fever and very weak.
He asked me to come over tonight for a bit and "sit on the couch" with him. I haven't been over there since Thursday, so we went.
He's staying home from work tomorrow, too...That makes 4 days of no tv station. While the cat's away the mice are playing...but he just can't go up there. Vampira's trying to hold down the fort the best she can.
She was very pleasant when I got to the ER yesterday. It was about 4pm, and she'd been in the waiting room since about 12:30. By herself for the most part. I think she was just happy to have someone to talk to! They called her back to tell her it would be another coupld of hours so she left to go check on things at the station and I got to go back and see him. I knew they hadn't called me b/c I was at school, and there really wasn't anything to tell at that point. They would have if he'd been admitted or taken a turn for the worse. I was ok with all that. He got to go home around 6:30, and we talked on the phone for a bit, then I fell asleep between 9:00-9:30.
So did he.
I did see him tonight tho, as I said. After my Spaghetti Supper committee meeting.
I was glad to since tomorrow is church/choir night.
I'm getting in on a new bible study by Max Lucado. My friend Trish asked me to go with her. Usually that's my "therapy" time..no kids for an hour, but this study sounds good, so I'm gonna go.
Dinner at church is at 5:30, then the study at 6:30, then choir practice at 7:30.
busy night.
I've got to get busy on my PR for the spaghetti supper next week, too. I hope it stops raining so I can get out and hang up fliers in the next few days. I'm so tired of rain.
Not much else going on.
Been a slow couple of days.
I hope you all have a wonderful Humpday tomorrow.
The days are just flying by!

Glad it was the Swine flu but sounds like he was pretty sick.
You know, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with that rooster. I just had to buy him and thought maybe my sil would want him. Somebody will take him, lol!
I hope that poor guy is on the up and up....

On a happy note, thanks for joining my Penless Pen Pals and following also at the 5 Moms' blog.
I think my post yesterday proves that I don't have the magical kitchen gene, hehehe! However, maybe I'll get better with practice, lol!
