Haircut Disappointment

So I finally decide to go get my hair cut.
I mean...it's been a year, so it's about time.

(hair now..before cut)

See?...it needed a good shaping.

I searched for hours online, looking for the cut I wanted...something not too drastic, still long, flattering...similar to what I use to have, but longer.
I found it!

I printed off the picture and took it with me.
"No problem" she assured me!

wash wash wash
comb comb comb
cut cut cut

dry dry dry...and VOILA..

Not a bad cut...but not ANYTHING like the picture.
Is it?
NOOOOOOOOOO..it's not.

I should've just had her take off more, and gone back to this cut.

It definitely looked better that way.

Oh, it's not bad.
It's just not different.
It's not what I wanted.
It never is.

Guess that's why I wait so long in between hair appointments.

I'm always disappointed.

It looks good, just not like the picture because I don't think she cut the face frame short enough. I am sure it feels better though having the ends cut off. I always loving getting a haircut.

It looks nice on you and I like ypur original cut too, but if you want what's in the picture she needed to cut it shorter around the face and cut layers. It looks like there aren't any layers.

If you trust her ask her to fix it, but expect it to seem too short at first.

Haircuts can be difficult. I always figure it'll grow out pretty soon.

I just don't get haircuts too close to any special events cuz if it's bad & too short there's no fixing or growing out before the big event.

It happened to my son before he was going to be in a wedding. It had to be cut soooo short to fix it, but it had to be fixed.

Take care and know that you look great.

It would look more similar if you just shaped it a little around your face, comb a little forward on each side and cut it at a steep diagonal to the longest length. I used to do mine like that..... and if you mess up it will grow back!
