2010: The Year in Review

I guess it's that time again...time to review everything that happened in the past 12 months.
I was trying to think back over the year, remember what all has happned, and then realized I needed to LOOK back through entries....which not nearly as time consuming as you'd think, since I really didn't write as much this past year as I have in previous ones.
I can't recall too much of what did actually happen, it all went by so fast!!
Which scares me... because they say the older you get, the faster time flies...and I do NOT want to be that old!
But I digress...
I was trying to recall what happened this year in my life, and really, the only BIG thing that happened was that Greg and I got married and Molly and I moved into his house.
Well..that and a trip to Las Vegas, and a family reunion.
But nothing terribly bad I don't think.
Which is a GOOD thing.
But let me go ahead and try to do a month-by-month play-by-play...just to be sure.

~Let's see..we started the year off with Trey healing from his shoulder surgery.
Other than that, life was pretty much the same...
~school
~time with Greg
~kids on the weekends
Not much exciting stuff.
I did start my Project 365 entries...posting a picture to represent each day. I think I shall try to continue that for the coming year.

~Book studies
~Tutoring
~5th anniversary of first date with Greg
Life marched on.
~Oh, and Molly went to her first dance!

and more importantly...

~The OFFICIAL proposal!

~stayed busy doing PR for JA

goodbye)
~Baby Max's first bday
~Matthew's 12th bday
~and of course...GETTING MARRIED!

Life also kept right on going...
~Dr appts/health issues for Greg

~and the flood that killed so many in our campground and was all over the national news for days(Albert Pike)

July was our traveling month.
~Family Reunion in Kentucky at the beginning of the month
~School conference in Las Vegas in the middle of the month

(and getting to meet a long time diary friend in person for the first time...plus running into Mike Huckabee on our flight and visiting with him)

~school starting!

Settling in to Life
~took control of my weight issue...set a goal of losing 30 lbs by New Year's. (made it to 22 1/2!)
~loving my class of students this year! I have an Autistic student who presents me with challenges, but I have fallen totally in love with her, even on her "bad days".
~Junior Auxiliary's Annual Spaghetti supper was a HUGE success (and I was told a lot of it had to do with all the PR I did for it!)
~started working on our Christmas Cantata for church choir
~Cheerleading began

Fall set in
~Trey turned 17
~deer season started
~after school tutoring started
~and more cheereleading!

~I was asked to sing a solo at the Veteran's Day Ceremonies
~cheerleading ended
~after school book study started
~Greg got a deer

**the cantata (but I screwed up my solo in this one)
**lunch with old friends I haven't seen in awhile
~Christmas came without all the traditions. The kids spent it with their dad this year.
~and a New Year was rung in
I have to say...It's been a pretty dang good year.
Marriage
Trips
Healthy family (for the most part--nothing we haven't been able to survive yet)
Great class at school
Time with friends
and lots and lots of love.

I'm hoping 2011 holds more of the same!
