CANTATA DAY
Our church choir performed the cantata "O Holy Night" that we'd been practicing since August.

I had a solo.
I didn't do very well.
Luckily, everyone else did.
Molly got to play a shepherd.

SHOPPING WITH THE KIDS
found these French Fry earmuffs at Hot Topic.

GROCERY SHOPPING SURPRISE
My lovely friend from Down Under had mentioned awhile back that she'd heard the US was now carrying a favorite cookie (or "bikkie" as she calls it, I think)from her homeland.
Well...I found them!

Now, to go back and buy them since the kids are gone and I might could actually try one!

LAST MINUTE DAY
Finished up shopping with the hubby and had a date night.
Then home for Christmas Eve with my kids since they would be leaving on the real Christmas Eve day to go to their dad's.

Molly starts off our Christmas Eve by reading the Birth of Christ story from Luke chapter 2. (I love that I didn't even have to mention it...she just went and got her Bible and announced that she would do it this year.)

CHRISTMAS EVE/OUR CHRISTMAS DAY
The kids were up and at'em early, of course.
Presents to open.
Everyone seemed happy.
They were more excited about what they'd bought for me, with their own money!

CHRISTMAS DAY
Dinner at the mother-in-law's = success!

And now..for a busy week.
Cleaning, visiting with friends, getting ready for to get back on schedule at school...
kids are gone to their dad's all week so hopefully I can get a lot done!

I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project!
For this year long project I will be posting an image a day.
I am hoping this will...
• help me find new things around me to focus my attention on
• share my world with my friends and family more
Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer.

Looks like a great week! You'll have to share some of the wit and wisdom of Disney with us.
