Day 15- Put your iPod on shuffle: First 10 songs that play

Well, I can't do this one. I don't have an iPod.
I use to have a cheapie mp3 player, but have not seen it since we moved in here 6 months ago. Didn't know how to make it "shuffle" anyway.
So....
what can I write about today?

How about just stuff?
Today is payday, and let me tell you, it couldn't get here soon enough.
I've got so much shopping still left to do. In fact, I'm taking a personal day off school tomorrow to get some done.
I need a Secret Santa gift for Friday, plus the rest of the stuff for my class party, and a gift for my aide.

I haven't gotten Greg's gifts yet either....he won't tell me what it is he wants.
"Tools", he says..but what kind? Not a big set, just the normal stuff. Like I know what that is??? lol

We have our family Christmas on Saturday at my parents' house. I've got the stuff for that, but have not wrapped a single thing. Plus stuff that needs to go in the mail.
And I have not even ordered the Christmas cards yet. They've been designed, but I've had to wait til payday today to get them ordered! So I'll be hitting that "buy now" button as soon as my check hits the bank. Luckily I can pick them up an hour after ordering, I think!
(Guess what I'LL be doing all weekend.)

So tomorrow it's
1. pick up Christmas Cards
2. Mail packages
3. Go shopping
4. Get everything organized for Friday
5. Attend school faculty party at the country club in the evening.

Then Friday will be chaos and excitement.

As will Saturday.

I'm ready for the break!

So..it's a new year. And I haven't posted here since..umm..May. I have been thinking of deleting this blog..or at least all the entries in it, and starting over. Maybe a school blog. I see tons of cute ones everyday when I'm perusing pinterest. I could do that. maybe. no...probably not. But I might try. This place did not turn out the way I wanted it to. I have my personal "diary" blogs/journals elsewhere. This one is too public for that anymore. I should make it something fun. I don't want to lose it. Erica made it so cute for me. I don't even know how to do that... or, for that matter, delete the entries I have here. I can't find the "dashboard" button that use to be there. hmmmm.. This may take more time than I thought.

Today is Alphabe-Thursday. That means my blog is brought to you by the letter C...so let's get right down to it. is for ahhh...the simplicity of crayons! An essential tool in my profession, and yet such a vital part of our lives. Crayons have the ability to color our world. They add life to simple drawings, brighten up the darkest of pictures, and create rainbows on rainy days. After completing a writing assignment my students will often ask...."Do we have to draw a picture?" "Of course you do!! And use your crayons!" I will reply. And then the real feelings of their topic show through. Without color, how dull our lives would be. No yellow sunshiny days. No pink cotton candy. No blue skies and green grass.
