A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

Life is returning to normal...whatever THAT is!
*Survived the weekend after a glorious week in Vegas
*Starting inservice meetings for school
*Having kids home again full time
It's never a dull moment..no matter what is, or is not, going on!

INSERVICE DAY
I spent the day researching online sites that had to do with my state of Arkansas. Found this one I particularly liked. Famous Arkansans.
Then it was meeting night for the Junior Auxiliary.
Some us worked on our upcoming project, "Stuff the Bus", happening this weekend.

I'MMA STAR DAY
Filming a talk show for our Junior Auxiliary promoting Stuff the Bus. The girl who was suppose to do it couldn't make it, so as Public Relations Chairperson, I always have to step in and do it. (plus...they know I will do it since my hubby owns the tv station.)
(there are four segments..this is just one of them)

WRITING INSERVICE DAY
Another day of learning for me. We met with a lady, Darcy Pattison, who has published several children's books, has taught in the school, and teaches writing on the college level. She showed us (and we participated in) several "pre-writing" activities to stimulate young writers.
And guess what...dead batteries in the camera, so I'm gonna have to just use an online pic to show the book we learned from today. It's the picture I would've taken.(sorry!)

JUSTIN BIEBER DAY
This was the big day in Molly's life.
Her first concert. For her upcoming birthday.
We headed to Little Rock and did some shopping, and ate at a Mexican Restaurant her dad and I use to frequent weekly 20 years ago, then arrived at the concert venue early to get close parking. After waiting in line for about 45 minutes, the doors opened and the excitement began. The Bieber kid put on a very nice show for young girls. I'm glad she still likes these kinds of entertainers that are clean enough for her to see.

TIME WITH THE KIDS DAY
I felt like the boys had been neglected all week...staying home while I had inservices and meetings, and while Molly and I galavanted off to the concert. So, I let them choose what to do and they wanted to go to the mall in "the city". So after lunch, we loaded up and Trey drove us the 30 miles there and back. We just hung out at Books-a-Million and the mall, but it was fun for us. We found lots of things to put on our Christmas lists as well as to come back and purchase later for others.

STUFF THE BUS DAY
Junior Aux's project to collect school supplies for our local schools. There are always students who can't afford them, and students at our elementary building (5th-6th grade) that can't afford school uniforms, so we help out where we can.
Molly and I got up to work our shifts out in the sun at our Walmart.
We collected quite a bit of stuff as well as a good sum of cash donations so it was well worth standing in the heat from 11am-1:30pm!
So much more that goes on in day to day life..but I'm working on trying to not document every little thing in these entries. I have a hard time selecting just one pic to represent the day sometimes, but I'm trying!
Today is "Celebrate Hubby's bday" day. His mom is coming over for lunch instead of us all going out. He wanted to grill some tenderloins, so I guess I better go make sure the house is picked up and get dressed so I can start cooking all the stuff to go with it. His bday was Friday, and he and I went out to eat, but no pics were taken. I'll get some today tho!
I hope you all have a wonderful week, and I'll try to start posting more throughout the week again. I start back to school this week in the "time to clean and organize the classroom" capacity. It could be an all week job!
Y'all have a good one!
I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project!
For this year long project I will be posting an image a day.
I am hoping this will...
• help me find new things around me to focus my attention on
• share my world with my friends and family more
Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer.
