Carry on my wayward son

Heard from my mom last night that dad was doing better.
She emailed:
"Dad is definitely better tonight. He got an antibiotic today which will help alot. He will never be a lot better than he is right now, but at least he can breathe better when he doesn't try to do much and isn't so "out of it" as he was for the last few days. He even ate a slice of pizza for supper and went to QuickWay to get a newspaper (first time he has been out of the house since Wednesday).

I am not going to church tomorrow night, but if he keeps improving I will go back Sunday. John M (that's my exhub. Both he and my dad are named John) has been a great help to us. He talked to Dr.**** who gave Dad the medicine without seeing him, something they wouldn't do for me. John M checked Dad out and said his oxygen machine needed to be a bit higher. He wasn't getting as much oxygen as he is suppose to be getting. John M adjusted the machine for him. Anyway, maybe the worst is over for now."

So...we'll wait and see. Like she said...He will never be a lot better than he is now. It could be a long haul like this.
Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts.

We got the cookies delivered to school yesterday, but still have a mountain of them piled up in the living room. I'll have to tag and bag them tonight for delivery tomorrow. I'm only mailing out 2 sets this year, and only delivering 1 set to Hot Springs I think...so it won't be bad!

I was at school from 7am -7:15pm last night (class, tutoring, book fair.)
Came home and made blueberry bread and brownies for the Community Coffee today...but I think the bread might be a little burned around the edges so...
I need to go throw together a banana pudding real quick and get it in the fridge to chill before we leave for school.

Today:
school...working on the JA scrapbook page, church, choir practice, tagging and bagging cookies.

Thursday: school...delivering cookies, mailing scrapbook page.

Friday: school...girl scout meeting

Saturday: cookie sale at Walmart

I think that's all that's going on. But you know how life goes..I'm sure someone will remind me of another place I'm suppose to be!

Ok..guess I better start rousing the Mollymonster. That's never fun. She's so not a morning person!

Y'all have a great day!

I'm so glad your Dad is doing better. I wondered if John could do anything about getting him some meds...YAY for him. I hope he continues to improve.

Deliver those cookies, girl. LOL

Peace, Love & Art,
