FALL PICTURE DAY

The stage in our "cafetorium" was still decorated with props from the PTO program last week, so I took advantage of it and got shots of my kiddos to add to the photo albums I'm making for them.

PAST PRESENT FUTURE DAY

We've been learning about how things change over time. I show my students a timeline of pictures of me from birth to the present and we discuss how I grew and changed. Then they bring in a baby picture and I give them a current pic I've taken and they imagine what they will be in the future. They have so much fun with this activity.

WHITE WEDNESDAY
I got a lot taken care of so I didn't have to go out on Friday.

Instead of Black Friday, I decided to shop on what my friend dubbed "White Wednesday".

THANKSGIVING DAY

Since we had my family gathering last Saturday, and my kids were with their dad for the week, it was just the hubby, his son, his mother, and I for the actual Thanksgiving meal. Greg deep fried a turkey breast and his mother fixed everything else. For this I was truly thankful! :)

LAZY DAY

Since I did my shopping on Wednesday, I took advantage of this day to be a total slug. I laid on the couch in the game room watching Grey's Anatomy all morning, had lunch at Greg's mom's, then I did finally get to Walmart to see what was left from the big sales. I was lucky there and scored the portable dvd player my son asked for at a great price. It was a good day.

CLEANING DAY
Today I tackled the carport .
It has these shelves and cabinets built in, that were PILED with junk. Man junk. and cobwebs, and old dirt dobber nests, and 7 years of dust and dirt, and just ...ICK.
They've always bugged me, but I just never had the time/energy/gumption to do anything about them. I mean...it was all HIS stuff. It had been there since he moved in basically. But now, this is my house, too, and I was sick of looking at it, so I got it cleaned. The shelves are now bare, everything is put away or thrown away (4 big garbage sacks full) and they are pretty much bare.
Hubby was so impressed.
His mother came by and could not believe how good it looked. So empty!

Now..to figure out what SHOULD go out there!

So...there it was. My week.
And December is upon us, and things are gonna get busy!
I'm glad you are along for the ride!

I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project!
For this year long project I will be posting an image a day.
I am hoping this will...

• help me find new things around me to focus my attention on
• share my world with my friends and family more

Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer.

Nice clean up! I don't Greed shop on BF either. :) We went on Tuesday and got the $10 jeans for Ladybug, (in desperate need) at Target, that was it.

Wow. What lovely things to be thankful for. I like your red dishes in your white hutch! And how nice your MIL did all the cooking. Lucky girl.
