Project 365: November already???

A Picture a day for 365 days...a year's worth of fun!

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

I canNOT believe it is November already!! Didn't 2010 just start? Weren't we all just debating on what to even call this year? twenty-ten? two thousand-ten? 2K10....
and now in just a mere 54 days the year will be over! Good gravy...if time flies when you're having fun, I must be having a laugh-riot!

Anyways...on to what's been keeping me so busy this week!

HALLOWEEN, but not really.

Our town celebrated last night, with trick-or-treating and Trunk-or-treats at the local churches. WE, however, opted to leave town to avoid the madness. (our neighborhood sees well over 300 kids if you stay at home....and by "kids", I mean anyone from birth age up to 18 or higher. It's really aggravating how many teens and young adults expect you to give them candy. There is also usually vandalism in our neighborhood if you have decorations out. Some of the less than savory population around here can ruin it quick for the others.) So.... Dinner at the Outback, and bribing Molly with a big bag of candy not to make me take her trick-or-treating.

NEW MONTH--NEW CALENDAR

My, my, what a busy month I've got ahead of me. And all those M-F things happen AFTER school hours!
And I've already had to add two more things since snapping this picture!

ELECTION DAY (at least in our state)
My class learned about the voting process. We didn't vote for people, tho. Just for "issues". (you may have to enlarge the picture to see what "issues" were important to us!)

In local news, our friend was re-elected as a US Congressman.
The little brother of some friends from college was elected our new Lt. Governor. (Met him...he's a nice guy.) I'm anxious to see what he does.

BOOK STUDY DAY

With some stimulus money given to our district, our school implemented a Book Study program for the teachers. Last year we covered 3 professional texts throughout the year, and those that attended every session were given $1000 at the end.
This year, they are offering the same program.
Our first book (for a one day study, since it was a short book) was FISH. A great read if you feel like you are stuck in a rut at work, or even in life.
Attitude is everything!

END OF CHEERLEADING DAY

The last game of the season. And we won!
Molly got a haircut to celebrate.

So...there's a peek into my world.
I know....you're jealous! How could you not be!

Seriously...just plodding along, life as we know it. Or at least as *I* know it.
If it slowed down any, I'd collapse! Best to keep moving!
Hope you all have a wonderful week!

I am participating in the 2010 Mommytography 365 Project!
For this year long project I will be posting an image a day.
I am hoping this will...

• help me find new things around me to focus my attention on
• share my world with my friends and family more

Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer.

I love those issues! That is great.
What congressman do you know? I wondered if Mark was Philip's little brother--that's cool!
