You're Gonna Miss This--co-sleeping
=I woke up to find this in my bed.

I was never one to put my babies in the bed with us. They had their own rooms, their own beds, once they got out of the bassinet that is.
When I divorced, and we moved, Matt and Molly decided they didn' like their new room. They'd whine and cry for hours...and wind up asleep in the hallway next to my door after exhausting themselves of tears.
That broke my heart!
I started letting them into my bed so we could ALL get some sleep. They were 5 and 4 at the time. Everyone told me it was a mistake..I'd never get them back in their own beds....and they were kinda right.
Matthew started sleeping in the living room, on the floor. He's wander in there sometime during the night. He was a walker.
Molly, however, just snuggled in closer to me.
She did this for years.
Even after we moved to another house and they got their own bedrooms. She wanted nothing of it come bedtime.
I finally got her into her own bed last year...LAST YEAR!
At the age of nearly 10....when I moved her bedroom to the one adjacent to mine.
Now she's "a big girl". She does everything in her own room.
But every once in awhile..not so often anymore..I wake up to find her in my bed.
I don't know when she migrates that way.....but yanno, I don't mind.
Those days are fleeting.....she's getting so big.....and I'll be getting married at some point soon......
So for now, I think I'll go back and snuggle her for a few minutes before starting our day!

You said you're getting married soon. That may make one or both of the kids want to snuggle more for security.
It's tough when they're young. I remember.
And everyday I babysit our youngest granddaughter we take a nap together. I love it. She is cuddly and warm and giggly and lovely.
It is always a moment I wish I could freeze forever.
Congratulatons on getting ready to get married again.
It's a scary ride sometimes but I think sometimes the first round is just the practice. And you know what they say? Practice makes perfect!
Good luck to you.
Have you been to Holly LeFevres blog? She has a hip bride blog...lots of great ideas on her site!
