Back to Life...Back to Reality

or at least....back to beginning of the grind.

This is the last full week I have with my kids prior to school starting.
My last full week with my boys.
They will leave Sunday afternoon and be at their dad's til school starts, then it's the every other weekend thing for them. I'll still SEE them every weekend, when I take or pick up Molly..but they won't be living here anymore.
That's gonna be weird.

We took a family walk this morning. The kids decided last night they wanted to go with me today. So 6am..i got them up.
3 laps around the playground is .9 mile. 7 laps is 2.1 miles and 10 laps is 3 miles. I like to do 3 miles.

The M&Ms tuckered out after 2 laps and went to play on the swings.

Trey held it together for 7 laps, but a blister had formed on the back of his heel, so we called it a day.
I guess it's new shoes for him!

I'm going to sit in on a taping of KTSS Talks this morning. Be the "side-kick". We're promoting our Junior Auxiliary Stuff the Bus project that kicks off in a couple weeks.
We are borrowing a school bus, parking it at Walmart, and accepting donations of school supplies or money to buy school supplies to give to the local schools for kids who don't bring any.
I hope we do well.

I'm also hoping this afternoon is sunny. I'd like to take the M&Ms to the pool. We've only got a few more days to do that. It's rained all weekend and was hazy this morning, but it looks like it's trying to clear off.

*crosses fingers*

(uh oh...I hear the wind picking up. Doesn't bode well for my wishes)

This evening holds JA meetings and Bunko for me.

a Busy Day.

Yep....getting back into that routine again!

I can't believe the summer is almost over. :(
Thanks for the sweet comment--and none of the prayers are original. But they are good, aren't they!
Praying for you, too! :)
And I am hoping to go to homecoming this year! Just not committing yet...
