You say "easy" like it's a bad thing



One of the men at work told me today that he'd had a dream about me last night...and then he blushed, and said, "one of THOSE kinds of dreams".

Another is constantly saying things to me that, given other circumstances, would get his ass fired for sexual harrassment. He also makes the "mmmmm mmmm" sound whenever he's walking behind me and has made it known he likes the view. It's all in fun, and I know this...

At WalMart last week, 2 young hispanic guys were passing by me, they looked me up and down, and as they walked away, one says under his breath, "now THAT's my type."

I got told by a male friend a couple days ago that I'm "always cookin", and another male I know insinuates how things would be if we ever found ourselves in a dating situation.

I'm not trying to brag. I'm not vain. In all actuality, I find it remarkable that any man thinks things like that about me. I'm over 40, overweight, and off the market.

But it's still nice to know that some men might find me attractive. Even when I know it's not anything to be acted upon.

We all need to feel attractive and "wanted" by other men. It gives us a much needed ego boost. Hell, if I get a second look by someone (you know I am a lesbian magnet) it makes my day! You go girl! lol

Today is Alphabe-Thursday. That means my blog is brought to you by the letter C...so let's get right down to it. is for ahhh...the simplicity of crayons! An essential tool in my profession, and yet such a vital part of our lives. Crayons have the ability to color our world. They add life to simple drawings, brighten up the darkest of pictures, and create rainbows on rainy days. After completing a writing assignment my students will often ask...."Do we have to draw a picture?" "Of course you do!! And use your crayons!" I will reply. And then the real feelings of their topic show through. Without color, how dull our lives would be. No yellow sunshiny days. No pink cotton candy. No blue skies and green grass.
