Things That Just Never Seemed Necessary


I saw this pic and thot..."Hey! I've never had a Cinnabon, either!"

I know...sad but true! And as many airports as I use to frequent when flying between Arkansas and South Florida for 3 years...you'd think I woulda stopped in and gotten one at some point. They're in every airport I think. Must be some FAA regulation.
*shrugs*

But alas..nope. I've never partaken of their cinnamony goodness. Which led me to think about OTHER things I've never done. So..I thought I'd make a list.
And I'm leaving off the stuff you may already know about me...like -no hard drugs, -no same sexual experiences, -never been in jail. Y'all know I'm basically a good girl. (or at least a bad girl in a good girl's clothing!)

So..my list of things I've never done, that other people probably have:
1. had a manicure or a pedicure
2. eaten sushi
3. watched "It's a Wonderful Life" (i've seen a scene or two while flipping channels..but never have actually sat down and watched it)
4. drank a flaming drink
5. gotten a wax job (anywhere...not eyebrows, moustache, legs, bikini area...nowhere. Guess when you don't have much body hair, you don't need to!)
6. took Chemistry. I was able to skip it and Physics in high shcool!
7. watched American Idol. (I KNOW!! I'm such a feeb!)
8. watched Big Brother or Survivor either!
9. had my hair professionally colored. (been doing the blonde-in-a-bottle thing since 1988, but always on my own!)
10. been to me (huh?? wait....crap, that song just popped in my head...you know, from the 70s..."and I've never been to me". What does that even mean?)

Ok..there ya go. 10 things I've never done.
Maybe next time I'll post 10 things I've done that might surprise you!! That could be interesting, I bet!!

but its an interesting idea, the things you've never done.

Kinda reminds me of the Bucket List and the things you want to do before you die.

I love Cinnabons..love sushi...think manicures and pedicures are wonderful stress releivers (as are professional massages)..."It's a Wonderful Life" is one of my all time favorite movies (you know I LOVE Jimmy Stewart!)...have watched my share of AI, BB & Survivor...adore Flaming Dr. Peppers, or at least I used to! lol.

Dayum, woman...you need to get out more! LOL

Today is Alphabe-Thursday. That means my blog is brought to you by the letter C...so let's get right down to it. is for ahhh...the simplicity of crayons! An essential tool in my profession, and yet such a vital part of our lives. Crayons have the ability to color our world. They add life to simple drawings, brighten up the darkest of pictures, and create rainbows on rainy days. After completing a writing assignment my students will often ask...."Do we have to draw a picture?" "Of course you do!! And use your crayons!" I will reply. And then the real feelings of their topic show through. Without color, how dull our lives would be. No yellow sunshiny days. No pink cotton candy. No blue skies and green grass.
