The Quiet of the Morning

The ONE advantage to my precious puppy waking me up at normal time on days off and weekends is having the quiet of the house all to myself.

I love to spend that hour or two curled up on the loveseat in the gameroom watching some frivolous tv I've recorded or have on dvd ...spending those moments selfishly. (currently it's Ally McBeal. I'm about to finish season 2 of 5)

ok..so I do wind up throwing in laundry usually... but that's only cuz I'm a chronic multi-tasker who feels guilty for completely shirking off responsibilities....but still.

The quiet..where I can catch up with friends on FB...read a few blogs sometimes...(something I'm working on)....get lost in a story and live vicariously through others on my tv screen....
and just be.

Until the pitterpatter of size 7 feet come padding through the door asking, "What's for breakfast?" that is!

(oh...and in case you missed it...I did a picture entry yesterday of the last month's activities since I'd gotten behind. Check it out if you want!)
