Yes, I'm spoiled.
My hubby not only OFFERS to rub my feet for me, he warms the lotion, and spends about 30 minutes on each foot!

MY NEWEST ADDICTION

Who knew those little green nuts would be so good!
I do have to laugh tho... those packages there sell for $2.50 each at our Walmart, for $3.87 at Walmart in Texarkana (the nearest "big city"), and for $6.87 at our Super 1 grocery store here in town! For the exact same package!! Needless to say...I'm stocking up everytime I go to our Walmart!

BUT WAIT...THAT's NOT ALL!

Not only does he rub feet.... he fixes the vacuum and then uses it....and today (Sunday)...he not only emptied and reloaded the dishwasher when I wasn't looking...he ran it the second time and emptied it AGAIN! Without my even asking him!!

ALL THE KIDS ARE HERE
the boys were still out for a snow day, but their dad went ahead and brought them to stay for the weekend. This pic was actually taken Friday night..but it represents what we did each night they were here. FAMILY DOMINOES!!
We had so much fun, playing all together. Me, Greg, all 3 kids.
If Alex would've gotten in on the fun it woulda been perfect...but 20 yr olds are too cool for family sometimes.

HAIRCUTS FOR THE BOYS DAY
When I got to school Friday morning, there were extra subs b/c of an event that had been cancelled. Noone told the secretary they'd be coming to school afterall...so we had a surplus of subs. Since my boys were at my house, for the first time since Christmas...I took a personal day to spend with them.
Shopping, lunch, and they finally decided they were ready for haircuts!

HAIRCUTS FOR THE GIRLS...and a DANCE

Molly also had a dance that night. She picked out this dress, even tho her "date" wound up unable to attend due to his father not letting him out of coming to his house that weekend.



So that was our exciting week....just family stuff.
But yanno....I kinda liked it that way!

So..it's a new year. And I haven't posted here since..umm..May. I have been thinking of deleting this blog..or at least all the entries in it, and starting over. Maybe a school blog. I see tons of cute ones everyday when I'm perusing pinterest. I could do that. maybe. no...probably not. But I might try. This place did not turn out the way I wanted it to. I have my personal "diary" blogs/journals elsewhere. This one is too public for that anymore. I should make it something fun. I don't want to lose it. Erica made it so cute for me. Today is Alphabe-Thursday. That means my blog is brought to you by the letter C...so let's get right down to it. is for ahhh...the simplicity of crayons! An essential tool in my profession, and yet such a vital part of our lives. Crayons have the ability to color our world. They add life to simple drawings, brighten up the darkest of pictures, and create rainbows on rainy days. After completing a writing assignment my students will often ask...."Do we have to draw a picture?" "Of course you do!! And use your crayons!" I will reply. And then the real feelings of their topic show through. Without color, how dull our lives would be. No yellow sunshiny days. No pink cotton candy. No blue skies and green grass.
