I hate change

I don't like change...that's nothing new.
I do like my new computer, but I don't like having to change everything over.
I can't get stuff to load on it.
I can't get stuff to work on it.
All my old saved pics and graphics are now on discs...not at my fingertips.
I can't get my scanner to work properly. It is all loaded and running...and when I click "preview scan", it shows me the pics I've put on it, but when I click "scan", it gives me an error and won't show me the pictures.
And even the desktop icon for it is different.

I can't find stuff.
There's no wordpad on here, just a notepad, and it doesn't change color or format the way my wordpad did.

I want to do so much now that I have a good computer, and I can't get anything else to work. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

One thing that has not changed is my ability to overspend without realizing it.
I picked up my tutoring check, just knowing it was enough to cover my electric/water bill and all the stuff I'd been buying.
NOPE
I did get my credit cards paid with it...but now I have $4 left, and a $100 light bill, and 2 weeks til payday.
And all the credit cards are maxed.
When will I learn?
Never...that's when.
I'm nearly 42 years old...if I haven't learned by now, I never will.

I always have all these big dreams of what I'll do when I get paid, or get tax money, and there's just never enough.

But the kids had a good Christmas...so at least there's that.

*sigh*
It's always the same old thing..

unless it has to do with my computer....where everything is new and nothing is working!
